Our team and mission
The EU Relations Office is located in the heart of the European Quarter of Brussels. The Office also liaises with the Permanent Representations to the EU and the Working Party on Space, the European Parliament and the European Commission to ensure that ESA’s views are continuously voiced in the decision-making process. Thus, it advises on suitable policy regarding ESA activities with the European Union and on strengthening relations with the Commissioners and the Directorates General of the Commission, the Cabinets, the European Parliament and its Committees, the EU Council and the European Council, and relevant EU agencies. In carrying out its activities, the Office reports to the Director of Strategy, Legal and External Matters, and coordinates closely with all ESA Directorates, including support in the implementation of programme activities.
